In Villingen-Schwenningen there is not only one Christmas market, but even two. Here it smells of gingerbread and children's punch, so that you can get directly into the Christmas mood on two Advent weekends in a row. The Christmas handicraft market in the Franciscan Cultural Center takes place every year on the second weekend in Advent. Visitors are particularly impressed by its special selection of unique handmade pieces.

The "Villingen Advent windows" are a unique form of the classic Advent calendar. From the 1st to 24th December there will be free Christmas performances in the area of the historical center of Villingen at alternating locations. The actions last about 15 minutes, and the content is entirely left to the imagination of the participants.
